Natasha opened Better Living Through Dentistry right here in her own neighborhood in the Sunset District in 2002 after receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at the University of the Pacific Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. She also holds an undergraduate degree in Anthropology from U.C. Santa Cruz.
Natasha balances private practice with her joy of teaching dental students. She spent eleven years teaching restorative techniques and is now an Assistant Professor and course director of Practice Management and Jurisprudence at Pacific.
Natasha is an active leader in the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the San Francisco Dental Society. She has volunteered on boards and councils at the local, state, and national levels as an advocate and voice for patients and dental health professionals in addressing oral health care issues. In 2018 she served as the President of the California Dental Association.
In addition, she is committed to volunteerism locally and has traveled abroad to provide dental care to those in need in developing countries. Natasha has been recognized by her peers for her dedication to the dental profession, ethics, and for advancement of oral health, by being inducted as a fellow into professional honor societies including the Pierre Fauchard Academy, the International College of Dentists, and the American College of Dentists which recognizes only 3% of dentists worldwide for their career contributions to dentistry and oral health.
Besides dentistry, Natasha also enjoys travel, scuba diving, reading, yoga and pilates, painting, and eating her way through all of the great neighborhood restaurants our city has to offer!
